a leaflet about pond ecosystem - 2008-01-15

Project team produced a leaflet about pond ecosystem: pond restoration and creation for European pond turtle, Fire-bellied toad and Great crested newt. The leaflet explains for farmers and other in countryside living poeple about importance of ponds for biodiversity, especially the role of water bodies in conservation of threatened species. There are given practical advices on pond restoration.

The leaflet in English will be available only on internet (pdf). The Lithuanian version is printed and is available at the office of Lithuanian Fund for Nature Algirdo 22-3, Vilnius. Those who want to get leaflet should write an email to Nerijus.z@glis.lt.
