Lithuanian Fund for Nature has been involved in transposition of the Habitats and Birds directives to Lithuanian legislation, also in preparing legal acts on management plans for Natura 2000.

Its took part in site selection for pSCI and management of some pSCI.

It published book on site management, prepared brochure on Natura 200 and was active in public awareness on Natura 2000. LGF staff give a lot lectures on Natura 2000.
