Goal: to evaluate raised bogs damaged by peat production, natural raised bogs, fens and swamp forests; to prepare the ecological evaluation criteria for wetlands and protection strategy for wetlands; to prepare a publication including information of the importance and protection of wetlands. Reports, a strategy for wetlands protection and ecological evaluation criteria were published in Mires, Their Role and Protection (1998).
